| We custom make, to our customers
specs, any style Rotary knives or Granulator Knives with slots
from .005 to .375 on a regular basis. We prefer to use D-2 hardened
blades of 62 RC but will, and have, made them from several different
steels per our customer’s request. We have established
with several unique relationships with customers where we manufacture
and stock blank knives to their specs and keep them in-house
for immediate availability when a special knife or project is
needed, there blanks are ready for our CNC “Cold Grinding” of
their patterns in the already hardened blanks, leaving no room
for distortion, shrinking or growing during the heat-treat process
where as all of our knives are cut in a hardened state. We also
offer a Cryogenic Treatment of our knives to customers that request
further enhancements of their cutting edges from the “freezing” process.
Our Hole Punch Dies are made to order at a very affordable price
and all are made from D-2 Hardened Steel to 62 RC. |
